Social media strategies to grow your coaching practice

If you are looking to build your coaching practice, I do hope you are building your personal brand online.

An excellent tool to use on your website and blogs is video and this week in one of my podcast shows I will be talking about using video online.

Earlier this week I took part in a preview for a programme I am a faculty member of  - the Social Media Telesummit which starts on the 20 February 2008. The host of the programme Leesa Barnes interviewed 5 members of the faculty to hear about our personal success stories with social media.

Utterz brings your personal brand to life online

I've just been trying out Utterz.com today having been alerted to the fact that there has been an upgrade in their service - thanks to Shel Holtz for sharing this information.

I really like the fact that I can now leave an Utterz direct from a phone in Ireland and post it direct to my Twitter account or to my blogs.

I also like the fact I can record direct from my computer using my headset and mic. As I can speak at the speed of sound but not type at the speed of sound, this is a great way of sharing your thoughts and views.

For example at the forthcoming CreativeCamp in Kilkenny, I could create Utterz of the highlights of the sessions at the event, or even do interviews with some of the speakers - in otherwords podcast on the run!
